Philipa Remington, a founding partner of the firm, has defended physicians sued in medical malpractice, medical product liability, and pharmaceutical cases for over 33 years. More than 1,000 Texas doctors have enlisted her assistance since 1978. Philipa has served as lead counsel for hundreds of doctors sued on claims for defective or dangerous drugs, and also has significant experience in the defense of birth injury, gynecology, pediatric and pediatric neurosurgery cases. She has been recognized by her peers in listings of ‘Texas Super Lawyers’ and ‘Best Lawyers in Dallas.’

Defended an obstetrician in a multi-million dollar brain-damaged baby lawsuit through trial and appeal necessitated by a co-defendant’s failure to settle; eventually resolved claim for insurance policy limits with no personal exposure to client

Represented hundreds of Texas physicians in lawsuits arising from prescription of the statin medication Baycol and the diet drug ‘Phen-Fen’ with 100% success rate in obtaining dismissals in favor of the physicians

Represents multiple physicians statewide in suits arising from prescription of Vioxx, Celebrex, HRT (hormone replacement therapy), and multiple other drugs
